Why Interoperability?

  • Communicate among different type of equipment and or devices
  • Increase coverage
  • Migration towards common platforms and or converge devices
  • Back-up and/or communication system redundancy

Interoperability Components

pcibridge1

Most interoperability systems require the following components:

  • A device per system to link, so it can be used as communication interface
  • A bridge that connects both systems

Unifying Several Channels

pcibridge2

Most interoperability systems require a single bridge per channel

Loading Balance

When designing an interoperable system, it is important to consider system loading balance, remember that you are aggregating subscribers to an existing system, if a balance is not considered you may suffer channel saturation
